Top 5 Best Smartphones Under ₹30000 Budget⚡June 2022

Friends, 2022 has seen very less "value for money" smartphones. But if you want to buy the best phones from the ones that are available in your budget Like this one!

Today I'm going to tell you about my top 5 picks for best smartphones under Rs 30k Remember, we keep a proper criteria/benchmark to rank the phones accordingly.

If you're budget is Rs 25-30k, then the phone should have a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, should have AnTuTu scores around 5L, fast charging, & a decent size battery.

These are the minimum benchmarks that are kept for phones under Rs 30k.And according to the recent phenomenon, we've included phones that are without offers.

Nowadays, the introductory offers go on for 3-4 months. So the prices of the phones mentioned can be less than what it actually is(if offers applied).

In fact, I'd recommend you not to buy if there aren't any offers. For the first time, in such a Post, all phones have a different processor! Otherwise, there's this 1 processor that gets famous & there are 3-4 phones on the same SoC.

5) Samsung Galaxy M53 - It comes on Dimensity 900 SoC with an AnTuTu score of 4.5-5L It has a big 6.7" sAMOLED screen, a big 5000mAh battery with 25W charging, & a 108MP quad camera setup! And it has a 32MP selfie as well.

And Samsung being a trusted brand it has a good camera setup, a Samsung phone with timely OS updates so you can definitely look at it.

Its 6GB+128GB is priced at Rs 26.5k but it gets lower with offers.

And if you buy it, you'll get a very slim box since you don't get a charger with it. So if you're buying it, get a charger along with it so that it's cheaper.

4) real me 9 Pro+ - It comes on Dimensity 920 SoC & the 6GB+128GB is priced at Rs 25k. It comes with a 4500mAh battery & a 60W charger. It's very shiny if you look at the design.

Although the Samsung Galaxy M53 has a 108MP camera, this has a 50MP(OIS) camera which is very consistent. In fact, if you're looking for a camera phone, then you should look at the real me 9 Pro+! It has a 50MP+8MP+2MP triple camera setup & a 16MP selfie camera.

And you get real me UI 3.0 that's based on Android 12.Earlier, only flagship cameras used to get OIS. Now these top 4 phones all have OIS in rear cameras.

3) OnePlus Nord 2 - Its 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 29,999.It comes with Dimensity 1200 SoC & there are 2-3 standout things. The OnePlus brand brings value & Dimensity 1200 is a capable SoC. You shouldn't have any problems during gaming, it has a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.

And yes, you get the adaptor inside the box. It includes a 50MP(OIS)+8MP+2MP triple camera setup. Along with a 32MP selfie which clicks decent photos because I’d say real me 9 Pro+ is better in terms of camera.

But it's a nice package overall, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G.If your preference is display since you consume a lot of multimedia, then you should look at

1
2) Moto Edge 30 - It has a 6.5" FHD+ 144Hz pOLED screen. And it's great as pOLED is better than AMOLED!

It's also sleek & stylish just like other Motorola phones. So, its display is a highlight & it's needed on Qualcomm SD 778G+ 5G SoC. And its AnTuTu score is above 5L, so its performance is also good. Yes it has a low battery of 4020mAh but you get a clean UI experience. And the battery lasts a whole day even under normal usage because the optimization is great.

It has a 50MP+50MP+2MP triple camera setup but it's slightly inconsistent. On the front there's a 32MP & I really like this phone in terms of specifications.

Except for the small battery pack, all other things are good. Its price is Rs 27,999 & it gets even less with offers. So, you can get it around Rs 25k, & for that price, the moto Edge 30 is really great at #2

1) iQOO Neo 6 - We've already done its unboxing so do check it out. It comes with Qualcomm SD 870 SoC which is one of the best processors in this price range. Its 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 29,999(without offers) & it'll get even lower with offers.

So, you get 8GB+128GB, an SD 870 SoC, a 4700mAh battery with 80W fast charging. And the battery won't cause any problems even during daily usage. But you also get 80W fast charging.

It comes with Android 12 out of the box. Some people like Untouched while some don’t.

You get an in-display fingerprint sensor, 64MP(OIS)+8MP+2MP & a 16MP selfie sensor. Its camera may not be the best, but it's decent.

Overall, looking at the total package, iQOO Neo 6 is at #1! So, these were my rankings, what would be yours & why. Like I said, they were all different phones & each phone has its own strength.

Samsung has its brand image, real me 9 Pro+ is for camera, OnePlus Nord 2 also has brand image & processor.

The moto Edge 30 has a clean UI experience & finally iQOO Neo 6 for performance, display & all other.

Latest Upcoming IQOO Z6 5G Smartphone Review

Friends, today we are reviewing the iQOO Z6, which comes with a 120Hz Screen, 50MP Triple Cameras, Snapdragon 695, And more. So read this post till the end and don’t forget to like and comments on this review

The Z series is known for its price to performance ratio all the Z Phones launched to date. Have been priced very well

Today we will be reviewing iQOO Z6 and this is great according to its price as well. The Z 5 had an SD 778 this one has SD 695 processor. Z5 costs around Rs 25K, and this one costs around Rs 15K

I’ll tell you about the top features, there is some documentation with a good quality case. There is an 18W charger Vivo written. The charging cable is USB Type A to Type C and a sim card tool.

Most of the phones that launched last year from Vivo this has a similar look. The back color changes according to the light focus. The cover fits snuggly, some people requested to drop it without the case. Let's try it out. It has a plastic back. The display is a 6.58" IPS LCD with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. It has a waterdrop notch that looks a bit dated. The brightness is quite good.

The viewing angles are okayish. The screen-to-body ratio is above 90%. The TSR is 240Hz with panda glass support. The performance is the biggest highlight. It has 3 variants and the base variant itself is 4GB+128GB

It has a 3.5MM jack and has a hybrid sim card slot. The storage type is UFS 2.2 with LPDDR4x RAM

The AnTuTu score came around 410K. The best performance-based processor under Rs 15K Was the Dimensity 810 which gave you a score of 370K. So, if I had to choose the best

Performance-based phone under Rs 15K is this iQOO Z6. You can play CODM at very high settings. So the gaming performance is great. It also has a liquid cooling system so even if you have Longer gamed sessions, it won't heat much. You can play BGMI in HD and high settings and we got a constant 40fps. You also get 4GB extended RAM. It has a 5000mAh battery with a 6nm processor so even in heavy usage the battery would last more than a day.

In gaming, you can notice the 240Hz TSR, so if you're looking for a phone which has a decent gaming performance, this might be it.

The camera setup is 50MP+2MP+2MP. The primary sensor clicks decent photos. I’d say they are on the softer side. I won't talk much about the 2MP cameras. The 16MP selfie sensor clicks good photos. The skin tones come out good.

I'll show some samples on screen. It also has a night mode, auto eye focus. All the sensors are there and work well, especially the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It comes in Fun touch OS 12 which is based on Android 12. I shouldn't say this but. A lot of phones still come on Android 11 even after 6-7 months since Android 12 launched

It has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 33 calling. There’s no notification light, the SAR value is within limits. It also supports camera2API & wide vine L1

So, if I have to summarise this phone in one sentence, this is the best performance-based phone under Rs 15K

Xiaomi 11i Hyper Charge India’s Fastest Charging Smartphone?

Xiaomi has started 2022 with a bang, the box is huge & the phone inside the box

This is the first 120W fast charging phone, has a decent case quality . This is the first 120W fast charger brick, it comes with the box. The back is glass, even though the sides are flat it will feel comfortable, looks a bit hefty, I won't say it weighs too much weight distribution is great, it is 206G, but it feels 190-195G

The phone weighs 206G, charger weighs, 202G! There are a lot of things to say about the phone

At the bottom, you get a sim card tray, USB type C, microphone, & speaker grill.

There's an on/off button, a fingerprint sensor, and a volume rocker on the right side. A 3.5MM jack is available, there's nothing on the left-hand side.  Let's review the sim tray, it has a hybrid sim card slot & you can expand the storage up to 1TB

It has a 1200 nits’ brightness, a 6.7-inch display, and 120HZ refresh rate & 360HZ touch sampling rate with a gorilla glass protection. The top and side bezels are flat, the center punch hole is small the screen to body ratio would be 90%, the chin is average.

It is the first phone with 120W charging, but it also has Dimensity 920 5G with a 6NM power processor. The base variant is 6GB+128GB, & the other one 8GB+128GB, the base variant costs around Rs 26999

It has LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2, it would've been better if it had UFS 3.1The AnTuTu score is 433525 if you compare it with Qualcomm snapdragon 778. The screen is big with stereo speakers so there should be no problem while gaming, we played BGMI without many problems. While gaming I noticed the haptic feedback was good, it also has a virtual RAM feature of 2GB and 3GB in 8GB variant. The UI is okay’s, which is 12.5, a UI 13 out of the box would've been good

It has a 4500mAh battery, this is a hypercharge variant, in Mi 11i you get a 5160mAh battery with a 67W charging. Remember out of the box it comes with a 67W but there's an option where you can boost it to 120W. It completely charges in 15 mins, and the speed is constant throughout the charging period Normally after 85%, there's a trickle charge. There's also a temperature check for safety, it does not overheat while charging with 120W

The primary camera is 108MP, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro sensor, you can click videos and photos in macro mode. The Centre punch-hole selfie is 16MP, I’ll show some sample photos of the 108MP camera . The selfie photos are okayish, the rear camera does not support 60 fps only 30fps. Along with the normal sensors, an IR blaster is also added, with a 360° ambient light sensor.

There's a side-mounted fingerprint with face unlock. The connectivity is the flagship, 5G chipset[8 bands], Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, dual VoLTE Wi-Fi calling is also supported widevineL1 & camera2API also supported, notification light is not present, but IP53 certification is present Multimedia is a big highlight.

The quality is great, the speaker at the bottom is more dominant I liked the Xiaomi mi 11i, the display is great, speakers are too so for Rs 25k it is a great phone’s 3.1 should've been added, earlier I did not rate mi phones because of the UI but now they have cleaned it

You get a new year discount of Rs 1500 + Rs 2000 on SBI cards in a total of Rs 3500.

So, the hypercharge variant 0f 6GB+128GB you can grab at Rs 23K and the 8GB+128GB at Rs 25K

Moto G71 5G First Impressions & Hands-On 2022

Motorola was one of the brands which surprised me positively in 2021

They launched a lot of good phones which were mainly focused on Indians & they’ll carry it in 2022 starting with the moto G71. It does not have a box, it is a pre-production unit so unboxing is not possible, but I’ll tell you everything about it.

If I must describe this phone in one sentence, then it is a combination of a good display from G31 & a

good processor from G51 both combined and then it goes one step further to make this G71 Let's talk in detail, firstly the back of this phone is amazing, but the fingerprint looks slightly dated It comes in 2 colours Arctic Blue & Neptune Green, it feels really light in hand.

The weight distribution is good, it has a 5000mAh battery, let's check the weight, 180.8 grams. But on hand, it feels much lighter, as I said it is a combination of G31 & G71 so let's talk about the specs.

It comes with a 695 Qualcomm Snapdragon, but it performs better than Qualcomm SD750 or even 765

So relatively it performs close to Dimensity 900, the biggest thing about the phone is that it supports 13 5G bands So it supports all the globally used bands

The storage is uMCP which means it is more than UFS 2.1, & LPDDR4X only has one variant 6GB+128GB

The tutu score is 371400, it costs around Rs 18999, so the score is pretty good And you can notice that while playing heavy games like BGMI without facing many problems playing on Ultra & High settings

It comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, the refresh rate is not that fast but the display is quite good And it is quite bright with 700nits brightness, the bezels are flat, the chin and the centre punch-hole is average It also has a virtual RAM of 1.5GB so the basic variant will be 7.5GB

The SD695 processor is based on 6nm fabrication technology which means it is power efficient. The 5000mAh battery is supported by 33W charging, in its previous variants it only supported 20W The battery life is quite good which can last for 1-2 days easily, so you don't need to worry about the battery

One good thing about the Motorola phones is the OS, you get a stock Android experience. The My UX feature allows customizations of icons, themes, and texts, you also get a think shield feature It also has a crystal AI feature that enhances your voice quality while calling.

It also supports carrier aggregation with a 4x4 MIMO, so it has a quite strong network reception. But the storage is not that strong, you cannot expand the 128GB storage, the sim card is a dual nano as every Motorola phone, this also has gesture support.

Talking about the connectivity, it has dual 4G VoLTE, WIFI calling, 5G[13 Bands], Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi & NFC It has a triple camera setup with a quad function, the primary camera is 50MP, the 8MP is dept as well as ultra-wide.

And you can click photos and videos with the 2MP Macro camera, the selfie camera is 16MP Under normal light conditions, the photos are okays with the primary camera, the ultra-wide camera is on the softer side The colour shifts a bit if you compare it with the primary camera, but the primary camera is good.

Remember, the unit we have is a pre-production unit, I’ll show some samples on the screen, but there will be an update I'm not sure how the updated version will be but the primary sensor is good of the phone but the 8MP Is average It has good camera features, e.g. Dual Capture, cinemograph, spot colour in which you can choose only one colour for one photo It should've had a 120Hz refresh rate, even 90Hz would've been great.

Because of the display, the video viewing would be great, at the bottom we have mono speakers with Dolby Atmos Which are loud and the quality is great too, it also supports Wide vine L3, but i think the retail variant will have L1 Because other phones have Wide vine L1, has an FM radio with IP52 certification

One more thing, it has a 3.5MM jack with a noise-cancelling microphone At Rs 19K two things display & performance is top-notch, you get a stock android performance being a Moto phone 120Hz & expandable storage would've been great.

There were my thoughts on Moto G71, drop your questions in the comment section, like the Post There was nothing on the back because of the plastic back. That's all for this review, until then Keep Tracing & Stay Safe

Vivo V23 Pro Unboxing & First Impressions Colour Change Smartphone.

Look at a color-changing back, it’s a passive color changing back because the texture is the only thing that changes like jewelry. From the front, it looks orange-golden and from the sides, it has a bluish and greenish look.

Talking about the V-series of Vivo, there are 2 things that stand out that are looks & the selfie camera In vivo V21, the selfie camera was 44MP. Now this has a 50MP with 8MP dual-camera and it also looks curved It is just 7.36MM & it doesn't even feel like I'm holding the phone. It’s light & thin.

I know you guys are waiting for the unboxing let's click some photos & find out how good the dual-selfie camera is the ultra-wide has a 105-degree FOV & is quite wide. The skin tone in every photo looks pretty good, the selfie camera is impressive in vivo V23 Pro.

Talking about the ultra-wide camera, the FOV is good, there should be no problem in group photos. The clarity & skin tone both look good in pictures, let's click some more photos in low light It’s impressive even when there's so much darkness. The selfie camera is impressive! Can we shoot videos too? Yes, it’s nice. How are you guys finding the footage on the screen? The video is pretty good despite the darkness, and the lights are back.

Let's see what comes with the box, the phone it comes with a good quality case and a 44W flash charger. It supports fast charging; it also has 3.5MM earphones. Oh no! Unfortunately, the jack is not 3.5MM, you’ll have to use an adapter. And there’s a Type C cable. Let’s look at the buttons, at the bottom, we have speakers, USB type C, and a sim card tray Nothing here, at the top we have a noise-canceling microphone on the right-hand side we have the volume rocker and an on/off button

The frame is all gold It weighs 173.3 grams & I have lost the touch of accuracy as I am doing this after a long time It feels way lighter in hand it has a good weight distribution One thing about the design is if you look at the camera module there is nothing here it looks plain, it would look better if it was a bit small And the camera module does not have color-changing The display is 6.5 inches full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate The side and bottom bezels are slim, at the top, it looks slightly outdated because of the 2 cameras.

Let's talk about the specs, it has a 1200 Dimensity processor If you ignore the Density 9000/8000 based phones because they still haven't launched in India, then this is the flagship.

The AnTuTu score is 6 lakhs, the battery is 4300mAh with 44W fast charging. It comes with 2 variants, 8GB+128GB & 12GB+256GB. I'm not sure about the price but we will update you once we know

The OS is also a big highlight, it’s the first phone which gives you Android 12 out-of-the-box. it has Fun touch OS 12.It looks very clean, there is a lot of improvement in Fun touch OS over the last few years

There are some pre-installed apps but not many. So, it’s on the cleaner side.

Performance - Density 1200 is tried and tested, games will run smoothly on this. BGMI can run on High settings. It has a top-notch AMOLED screen; the display is quite good. The bottom mono speakers are quite loud & video viewing looks fun on this You'll get used to the notch after using the phone.

It has 7-band support with 5G, the latest Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual 4G VoLTE and supports Wi-Fi calling. I’ve already talked about the selfie camera, but the back camera is also quite decent. The primary camera is 108MP, ultra-wide of 8MP & 2MP macro sensor. It would've been better if the ultra-wide was 16MP, I'll show you sample photos of the primary camera In the whole V-series under normal conditions, the photos are pretty good.

There are 2-3 things that were impressive for me, the back, as well as the front camera, supports 4K@60fps.It also has a feature called a teleprompter, so if you shoot videos more often you can read through it. It also has a steady face feature that provides stability.

The camera is the main highlight of the phone, I'll show you a lot of samples Most people buy the V series because of the good camera You guys comment below how do you like the photos on the screen I’m impressed with the selfie setup & the back camera is also quite good, especially the primary sensor.

Talking about the sensors, it has an in-display sensor and a face unlock, both are fast You can add 4GB of RAM if you have an 8GB phone you can extend it up to 12GB through virtual RAM. Other features like Camera2API & Wide vine L1, which enables you for the screen, it does not have an FM radio but has the support of an Indian satellite - NAVIC, no NFC & no IP certification too.

I'm not sure about the display protection of the screen .let's do the drop test before that let's quickly have a look at the sim card tray which comes with a dual nano tray There's a slight hesitation because the screen is a bit curved, I'm not sure to what extent will case protect

Nothing wrong here, let's try from the front no damages here as well the legacy of the V-series surely is carried by the Vivo V23 Pro, it has stunning looks. Android 12 comes out of the box, with a 4300mAh battery and 44W fast charging. Let's wait for the price The secondary camera of 8MP is one of the negatives which could've been better If you have any questions drop them in the comment section.

5 Best 5G Smartphone under 35000 budget in 2021

5 Best 5G Smartphone under 35000 budget in 2021

Friends, the super-premium midrange/budget flagship category phones under Rs 30K have become hot!

So many good phones have been launched in this category.

In this post, I’m going to write about the best smartphones under Rs 30K. I’ll also talk about the confusion.

Criteria - Should have SD870/Dimensity 1200 SoC, a 90Hz AMOLED screen, a 4500mAh battery with fast charging & minimum 6GB RAM which ideally should be 8GB.

There’s 1 phone from the list with 6GB RAM, but the rest should have 8GB RAM according to me.

And yes, they should be 5G ready in connectivity as it’s important. And SD870 & Dimensity 1200 SoC

are present in the phones so they will be 5G ready!

Before starting the list, every phone has a specialty & it all depends on what you are looking for.

which you’re going to use for the next 1-2 years, so it’s important that your decision is perfect.

So I’ve chosen my top picks with their rankings. But it all depends on what you require.

Mi 11X 5G - It’s based on Qualcomm SD870, you can look at it if you aren’t interested in Dimensity SoC.Its 6GB RAM & 128GB storage. Like I said, it’s the only phone with 6GB RAM.

It has a 4520mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Is priced at Rs 29,999/-

Has a 48MP+8MP+5MP triple camera setup on the rear & a 20MP selfie sensor, so overall it has good cameras.

The Mi11X comes with a 6.67” AMOLED screen with 120Hz fast refresh rate as per our basic criteria.

 iQOO 7 5G - It has a 6.62” AMOLED screen with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. Has 8GB RAM & 128GB Storage.

It’s priced at Rs 31,999 but with offers it comes under Rs 30K.

Other features are good like, 48MP(OIS) triple camera setup, has a 4400mAh battery with 66W fast charging. So, the charging is nearly double that the Mi 11X.

realme X7 Max 5G - You get its 12+256GB variant under Rs 30K. And its lower variants come around Rs 25-26K.

So according to its price, it’s value for money. It has a Dimensity 1200 SoC which compared to SD870,

has more 5G bands & also supports dual sim 5G. The AnTuTu scores & performances are also similar.

In fact, Dimensity 1200 is based on 6Nm architecture which makes it more battery efficient, so it’s better! It has a 64MP triple camera setup, with a 12+256GB variant & a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charging.

And its price, Rs 29,999 for the 12+256GB variant is good.

If you are into gaming, then you should buy this phone for under Rs 30K. It’s a gaming phone!

POCO F3 GT 5G - It comes with Maglev triggers & has the best build quality amongst the others on the list. The base variant comes around Rs 27-28K & their 8+256GB variant comes under Rs 30K.

So you get an extra 128GB which is a good amount of storage. It has Dimensity 1200 SoC, a 5065mAh battery with 67W fast charging. There’s a 64MP triple camera setup with a 16MP selfie sensor.

And overall like I said, the 8+256GB variant under Rs 30K is really good.

OnePlus Nord 2 - It’s a great phone, has Dimensity 1200 with OxygenUI & it does have the ColorOS camera.

And still, Oxygen is one of the cleanest UIs & I like it. So you can look at the OS along with the brand.

Many people want a OnePlus phone, so you can look at it. The other specs include a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging. It has a 50MP(OIS) triple camera setup on the rear & a 32MP selfie sensor.

So looking at all factors, the realme X7 Max 5G, POCO F3 GT 5G & the OnePlus Nord 2 5G are in the top 3, depending on what you want.

There’s 1 phone not included in the list, but I’d like to give it an honorable mention!

OPPO Reno 6 5G - It’s a beautiful & different-looking phone & if the design is important to you then do check it out.

It comes on Dimensity 900 that performs well & if you really want a different-looking android phone, then it’s for you! And I’m happy about it as you get more choices!

iQOO Z3 Smartphone with 5G

iQOO Z3 Smartphone with 5G

iQOO Z3 is the third smartphone offering from iQOO this year, interestingly they’d launched their 2nd smartphone after a gap of one year.

And iQOO Z3 is launching one a month after iQOO 7 series This smartphone is a premium mid-range smartphone at it’ll be priced between 20-25K

USB type c cable, documentation, sim card tool, good quality TPU case, iQOO Z3 smartphone, 66W fast charger (phone supports 55W)

Design - This has a polycarbonate back, but it looks like glass & it reflects different colors from different angles & it actually looks nice.

In-Hand Feel - It is a lightweight smartphone & it fits very well in your hands.

It has a narrow form factor so even if you have an average to medium size hand, it’ll fit perfectly in your hands.

Build quality - The case you get is of very good quality & fits well.

Drop Test - Front side drop: no damage. Backside drop: it's all good with no signs of damage as the case is of good quality.

Ports & Buttons - bottom side - you have a speaker grill, Type C port, microphone, 3.5mm jack.

On the left side - there’s nothing. On the top side, you get a sim card tray & noise-canceling microphone.

On the right-hand side - you have a volume rocker & power on/off button that doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.

The sim card tray - it is a hybrid sim card slot (you can insert a dual sim card or 1 sim + SD card). If we talk about its weight, it should be around 183-184 grams. Let's check it out

Time to check the weight - It's 188 grams. It's around 187-188 grams.

The weight is average & it isn't too heavy. It fits very well in your hands.

The display here is a 6.58’’ screen & it doesn't feel like a big display as it fits well in your hands.

It is an IPS LCD FHD+ screen with 120 Hz fast refresh rate with 180 Hz of the touch sampling rate. And it has a 90.6% screen to body ratio as it has small bezels & it looks nice overall. It looks slightly outdated because of the water drop design but still, I like it overall & it gets a panda glass for screen protection

Specifications - This is the first phone to come equipped with Snapdragon 786G 5G & it is a successor of SD 765G.

Talking about performance, it gets a 15% performance boost because the performance cores of this SoC are clocked at 2.8 GHz while SD 765G is clocked at 2.4 GHz.So it has a 15% boost in performance. It is based on a 7nm process & it is a 5G ready smartphone.

The base variant comes with 6GB/128GB storage & the other variant is 8GB/256GB.

6GB variant could be priced around 22-23K Rs & if it comes at that price, then this will be a good performance-oriented smartphone.

Storage type is UFS 2.2 & RAM type is LPDDR 4X

Battery - It has a 4400 mAh battery & 55 W fast charging. The adapter you get is 65W but the phone supports 55W charging. It charges 50% of battery in just 19 min & 0-100% in 50 min

Software - It runs on FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 & this is a much-improved OS compared to its previous versions. There are system notifications so they’ll pop up in your notifications panel.

There are some really good things about FunTouch OS 11, especially on this phone. For eg: You can set the refresh rate to 60/90 Hz. It also has a virtual RAM extension feature, this will extend your RAM by 3GB so you have a total of 11 GB RAM & it's a nice feature to have

Performance - AnTuTu score is around 4.5 Lakh + & you can play games on very high settings easily without any problems.

We played games for about 1 hour & we didn’t experience any heating issues and it performed flawlessly. This phone has 5 layer liquid cooling system so it’ll keep your phone’s temperature under control

Sensors - it has all the sensors & side-mounted fingerprint also sensor works quite well

Connectivity - It comes with a 5G with 2 5G band supported, Wi-Fi calling, Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 so all the latest connectivity options are present

Additional features - Wide vine L1, Cam2Api & SAR value is within limits. FM radio & notification light are missing.

OnePlus Nord 2 5G

  OnePlus Nord 2 5G

The much-awaited OnePlus Nord 2 is here. After a long time OnePlus seems to be back with a Flagship Killer.OnePlus made its name as Flagship Killer & this time we have the OnePlus Nord 2(successor of the OnePlus Nord). When it comes to performance, battery & a lot of other things, it’s a huge leap.

This is the 1st phone to come with OPPO-OnePlus integrated code-based OS.

There are many new things in the OnePlus Nord 2 & we’re going to unbox it & give its first impressions.

We’ll tell you all about it & I’m really hoping it comes close to the Flagship territory. It comes with a black box with NORD written on it. Box Contents - Upfront you get the phone & there’s Nord’s signature blue color.

There’s documentation with stickers, a red cable membership card, a quick start guide & safety information. There’s a sim card tool, a Type C cable in signature red & a 65W Warp Charge fast charger.

There’s a good quality case which we’ll put on the OnePlus Nord 2. Looks - Should I call it OnePlus Nord 2 or OnePlus 9 Lite because it’s very similar to the OnePlus 9.

It looks familiar with 2 big sensors on the OnePlus Nord 2. This is Haze Blue color, you get Grey Sierra & Green Wood color options too. In-Hand Feel - It feels slightly hefty & is a little on the heavy side, but it’s built very well. It feels premium, fits well on the other hand & it also looks close to a flagship phone.

Build Quality - The case is good & bulky but it looks nice with the case[Drop Test] The case is good so it wouldn’t matter even if I drop it harder. It comes with a preinstalled scratch guard, so I’ll take it out.

The in-hand feel is not the best nor the worst but feels good & it’ll feel big with small hands. Let’s weigh, I think it’ll be close to 200g. It is 189g! Maybe, I thought it’s heavier because of the heft. And the weight distribution is ok, it’s not bad at all.

There’s glass both on the front & back. We aren’t sure of the Gorilla Glass version & the frame is plastic. Ports & Buttons - Below, there’s a speaker grille, a USB Type C port, a microphone & a sim card tray. On the left, you get a volume rocker(up & down). And the buttons are solid & clicky.

There’s a noise-canceling mic on top. On the right, there’s the alert slider with the power button below. The sim card tray has a dual nano sim card slot & there’s no expandable storage.

Display - It’s a typical OnePlus display with 6.43” Super AMOLED with 90Hz fast refresh rate & HDR10 support. There’s no exact screen-to-body ratio but the top & side bezels are thin & the chin is smaller than average.

Specifications - It has MediaTek Density 1200 5G SoC which is based on 6Nm fabricated technology.

There are 3 variants : 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB & we have 12GB+256GB top variant.Good thing, it has UFS 3.1 storage type making good read-write speeds & has LPDDR4X RAM type.

Performance - It’s the successor of the OnePlus Nord which had Qualcomm SD 765G SoC. And if I compare it with Dimensity 1200’s AnTuTu Score, the performance has nearly doubled! The AnTuTu The score on this 12+256GB variant is around 6.87L which is a big jump. The AnTuTu The score on SD 765G was around 4L. And Dimensity 1200 clearly has a big jump.

Battery - It has a 4500mAh battery with 65W Warp charging & battery capacity is big compared to 4115mAh on OnePlus Nord.

The 4500mAh battery will charge 0-100% in 30 minutes. Overall, a great upgrade in battery & performance. OS UI - It’s my favorite clean OxygenOS & having a 90Hz fast refresh makes overall scrolling & animations smoother. But due to the integrated code base, the camera UI is from ColorOS.

Being a daily OnePlus user, it looks a little out of place. There are 2-3 things added from ColorOS.

In the battery section, you’ll get a high-performance model. Looks like ColorOS is creeping into OxygenUI.The thing missing from ColorOS is the level of customization of AOD, which would have a welcome feature. So I’d say it's a mixed bag of OxygenOS. For regular usage, there wouldn’t be a problem. Especially, you’ll have fun using it with Dimensity 1200 & UFS 3.1.

You can play games with high-very high & HDR settings. We played for a long time & it was fun & smooth.

Camera - The OnePlus Nord had a quad camera setup (48MP+8MP+5MP+2MP). This one has a 50MP+8MP+2MP(triple camera). The 50MP sensor is an IMX766 Sony sensor. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie sensor. And looking at the photos, the IMX766 sensor works well. But when you move to Ultrawide, it lacks sharpness & results in softer images.

Even the selfies’ colors & dynamic range are good. Let us know what you think in the comments.

The 50MP sensor works very well. Surprisingly, the video quality options are downgraded compared to Nord. With the rear camera, you’d be able to take 4K@60FPS which was possible with the OnePlus Nord but with the 32MP front camera in Nord, you were able to shoot 4K@60FPS videos.

In Nord 2 there isn’t any support for 4K, but maybe with updates it’ll be available.

Sensors - All sensors are available, in-display fingerprint sensor & face unlock both work fast & are reliable.

Connectivity - It’s excellent as you get 5G with 11 band support which is a benefit of Density processors.

You get more band support(11 bands) with dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi Calling, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 & NFC support. We tried testing carrier aggregation but there’s some issue with Density 1200, so I’m not sure if it’s there.

Multimedia - Its bright AMOLED screen is great & the viewing angles are also good.

You get stereo speakers, one below & another in the earpiece above, which are good & loud. You’ll get a flagship multimedia experience on the Nord 2. And there is no 3.5mm jack.

Features - You get Camera2api support, so you can use GCam, there’s Widevine L1 for HD streaming.
