Motorola was one of the brands which surprised me positively in 2021
They launched a lot of good phones which were mainly focused on Indians & they’ll carry it in 2022 starting with the moto G71. It does not have a box, it is a pre-production unit so unboxing is not possible, but I’ll tell you everything about it.
good
processor from G51 both combined and then it goes one step further to make this
G71 Let's talk in detail, firstly the back of this phone is amazing, but the
fingerprint looks slightly dated It comes in 2 colours Arctic Blue &
Neptune Green, it feels really light in hand.
The
weight distribution is good, it has a 5000mAh battery, let's check the weight,
180.8 grams. But on hand, it feels much lighter, as I said it is a combination
of G31 & G71 so let's talk about the specs.
It
comes with a 695 Qualcomm Snapdragon, but it performs better than Qualcomm
SD750 or even 765
So
relatively it performs close to Dimensity 900, the biggest thing about the
phone is that it supports 13 5G bands So it supports all the globally used
bands
The
storage is uMCP which means it is more than UFS 2.1, & LPDDR4X only has one
variant 6GB+128GB
The
tutu score is 371400, it costs around Rs 18999, so the score is pretty good And
you can notice that while playing heavy games like BGMI without facing many
problems playing on Ultra & High settings
It
comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, the refresh rate is not that fast but the
display is quite good And it is quite bright with 700nits brightness, the
bezels are flat, the chin and the centre punch-hole is average It also has a
virtual RAM of 1.5GB so the basic variant will be 7.5GB
The
SD695 processor is based on 6nm fabrication technology which means it is power efficient.
The 5000mAh battery is supported by 33W charging, in its previous variants it
only supported 20W The battery life is quite good which can last for 1-2 days
easily, so you don't need to worry about the battery
One good thing about the Motorola phones is the OS, you get a stock Android experience. The My UX feature allows customizations of icons, themes, and texts, you also get a think shield feature It also has a crystal AI feature that enhances your voice quality while calling.
It also supports carrier
aggregation with a 4x4 MIMO, so it has a quite strong network reception. But
the storage is not that strong, you cannot expand the 128GB storage, the sim
card is a dual nano as every Motorola phone, this also has gesture support.
Talking about the connectivity, it has dual 4G VoLTE, WIFI calling, 5G[13 Bands], Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi & NFC It has a triple camera setup with a quad function, the primary camera is 50MP, the 8MP is dept as well as ultra-wide.
And you can click photos and videos with the 2MP Macro camera, the
selfie camera is 16MP Under normal light conditions, the photos are okays with
the primary camera, the ultra-wide camera is on the softer side The colour
shifts a bit if you compare it with the primary camera, but the primary camera
is good.
Remember, the unit we have is a pre-production unit, I’ll show some samples on the screen, but there will be an update I'm not sure how the updated version will be but the primary sensor is good of the phone but the 8MP Is average It has good camera features, e.g. Dual Capture, cinemograph, spot colour in which you can choose only one colour for one photo It should've had a 120Hz refresh rate, even 90Hz would've been great.
Because of the display, the video viewing would
be great, at the bottom we have mono speakers with Dolby Atmos Which are loud
and the quality is great too, it also supports Wide vine L3, but i think the
retail variant will have L1 Because other phones have Wide vine L1, has an FM
radio with IP52 certification
One
more thing, it has a 3.5MM jack with a noise-cancelling microphone At Rs 19K
two things display & performance is top-notch, you get a stock android
performance being a Moto phone 120Hz & expandable storage would've been
great.
