IPL 2023 Details: A total of 70 league-stage matches will be played across 12 venues over the course of 52 days.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023:  The Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) action is all set to begin on March 31 (Friday) at reigning champions Gujarat Titans’ (GT) home ground in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium where they will face MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK). So fasten your seatbelts and get ready to take an almost two-month-long voyage to watch 74 matches across 12 venues this season.

The BCCI announced the IPL 2023 schedule on February 17, 2023 and the 16th season will kickstart with a GT vs CSK blockbuster clash followed up by the first double-header day where Punjab Kings (PBKS) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Delhi Capitals (DC) battles will be seen in Mohali and Lucknow respectively

All 10 teams, participating in the IPL 2023, have announced their full squads for the season with a few forced to making changes due to injury blows at the eleventh hour. Do check out the teamwise IPL 2023 Squads here:

IPL 2023 timings

The IPL 2023 will have 18 doubleheaders, with the day games starting at 3:30 PM IST and the evening games starting at 07:30 PM IST.

IPL 2023 venues

After staging IPL across Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad due to covid interruptions in the last edition, the IPL 2023 is back to the home and away format, where all the teams will play 7 home games and 7 away games respectively in the league stage. A total of 70 league-stage matches will be played across 12 venues over the course of 52 days.
