Cholesterol disease is as serious as it is easy to treat. But it requires persistence, patience, and consistency. Cholesterol disease can be overcome if some simple measures are followed regularly.

What is cholesterol?:-


Simply put, cholesterol is a substance in the blood. Cholesterol in the blood is used to provide energy to different organs to keep the blood circulation going smoothly in the body. The body produces cholesterol naturally and synthetic cholesterol enters the body due to the consumption of fast food, junk food, foods with high oil content.

When the amount of cholesterol increases in the body, it sticks to the blood vessels and creates new walls, new barriers. This affects the continuous blood circulation process in the body. If the blood circulation is affected, the health starts to deteriorate. Excess cholesterol in the body is called hypercholesterolemia.


There are two types of cholesterol found in the body. Low-density lipoprotein LDL and high-density lipoprotein HDL cholesterol are found in the body. There are many reasons for the increase of cholesterol in the body. 2 main reasons for this

Lack of physical activity compared to diet large consumption of fast food, junk food, foods with high oil content

If you are overweight, you have excess cholesterol in your body for at least one of two reasons, and sometimes both. Get your blood cholesterol checked. It will understand the amount of cholesterol in the body. There is no need to worry if blood cholesterol is 200 mg/dl.

But if the blood cholesterol is 200-239 mg/dl, then note that the cholesterol level has started to rise. If the blood cholesterol is 240 mg/dl, the cholesterol level is alarming. Because it is high cholesterol. People who have high cholesterol in their body are at the highest risk of heart disease.


Simple solutions to control cholesterol:-

◼️ Drink maximum boiled water every day.

◼️ Choose 2-4 washed Tulsi leaves every morning and eat them. Drink 5 drops of lemongrass oil in a

    glass of water in the morning.

◼️ Wash the lemon with water then boil two glasses of water in a pot. When the water is warm,

    squeeze the lemon and put the lemon peel in the water. Discard the lemon peel.

◼️ Every morning before brushing, chew 2-4 cloves of garlic. Or you can eat garlic tablets.

◼️ Use limited number of garlic in daily diet. Consume foods made from coconut oil.

◼️ Use cod liver oil in foods and consume those foods. Taking omega-3 pills is also okay.

◼️ Consume foods that are rich in vitamin B3, C, and E.

◼️ Consume a bowl of curd in lunch every day. Curd helps in digestion of food.

◼️ Avoid consumption of fast food, junk food, oily food.

◼️ Avoid consumption of foods made using sugar and flour.

◼️ Avoid eating bakery products, chips, and wafers.

◼️ Use jaggery instead of sugar in food for sweetness.

◼️ Do yoga for at least one hour every day. Also keep walking.

When the amount of this wax-like substance increases in the blood vessels, it is likely to reduce blood flow. Which increases the risk of heart disease, heart attack and stroke. The liver produces it, but the foods we eat also increase its production.

Do not eat processed meat:-


According to the Cleveland Clinic, frozen and packaged meats available on the market go through a long process to keep them healthy for longer. Some examples of processed meats are sausages, hot dogs, bacon, frozen kebabs, etc.

This can weaken the immune system. So, if possible do not include such foods in your diet.

Junk food:-

Junk food is made of different types of oil, spices and flour, which work to increase cholesterol. These foods include chips, nachos, milk chocolate, soda, fruit flavoured drinks, etc.

Fry food:-

According to a report by Harvard Health, foods fried in oil are very bad for your health and cholesterol. These foods also cause obesity. Fried food is harmful for everyone.

sweets:-

Sugary foods are high in sugar and can raise cholesterol. Foods like ice cream, cakes, pastries, donuts etc. should be avoided. All these things are dangerous for the heart.

Fast food:-

The trend of fast food has grown rapidly. It contains all the elements that harm the body. These increase the bad cholesterol in the body rapidly. They also put you at risk of obesity, heart disease, diabetes, etc.
